Clinical Informaticist Leadership Impacting Patient Access Issues

This work represents the highly cross-functional skill set needed to explore and define unstructured problems plaguing our healthcare system. My role was to work directly with the drug manufacturer to gain a clear understanding of the issues they were facing, interrogate the data to quantify and define the problem sets, build internal and external team relationships to build and deploy scalable and sustainable process improvements. This work drove an 11% (>100,000 patients) increase in access to therapy, it also bolstered the drug manufacturer revenue by 30 million within 1 year.
