Hi Welcome!

My healthcare career began at the bedside as a labor and delivery nurse, where I instantly fell in love with all things mother/baby—I couldn’t believe I was getting paid to do such meaningful work! But as friendships were made and opportunities arose, I found myself stepping into the world of telehealth, delivering case management services on behalf of health plans. Yes, even back in 2006, I was working remotely! Over the next 11 years, I played a pivotal role in building a highly successful telehealth disease management service—one that became an integral part of the patient-centered medical home model for CVS Health.

During that journey, data kept colliding with my clinical world. And then it happened—the intersection of clinical expertise and data—and I was hooked! I had found my sweet spot: leveraging data-driven insights to make a meaningful difference in patient care. This realization became the catalyst for earning my master’s degree in clinical informatics.

As I progressed through grad school, I realized I wasn’t a "fake it till you make it" type—I was a "learn it till you can do it" type. So, when the opportunity arose to step into a data and analytics role, I took the leap! I landed in a world where there wasn’t a nurse in sight, which was both exhilarating and unsettling. I often felt like an odd duck—until I understood why this brilliant analytics team embraced a nurse.

I became their link—the bridge between data and patient care. I translated their work into real-world clinical impact, connected numbers to narratives, and made complex data make sense through the lens of evidence-based practice. I taught them about clinical decision-making, patient navigation challenges, and population health issues, while they taught me about data architecture, coding, analytics methodologies, and data science tools. Together, we made each other better—always tethering our work back to the patients we served.

Now, after seven years in highly technical roles, I’m ready to bring these skills back to my clinical roots. I find the most fulfillment and purpose when my work has a direct and meaningful impact on patients' lives. I thrive in unstructured problem-solving and love collaborating with teams that are working toward shared goals.

You can find my resume and examples of previous work using the navigation above. Please feel free to reach out via phone, email, or LinkedIn—I’d love to connect!

Thank you,
Amanda
